The AdvisorGPT prototype is an AI application intended for use by faculty advisors in higher education settings. With this tool, advisors enter student transcripts and relevant course catalog data, and the AI application responds by mapping out the courses needed for graduation or the gaps that exist. For example, if the advisor asks, "How's this student doing in terms of graduation requirements?", AdvisorGPT gives an overview and identifies gaps. The goal is to make the advisory process easier and more accurate.
